The mission of Shaheed Arshad Sharif will continue, the determination of the journalist community.

Sakkur: Sakkur Union of Journalists and Sakkur Press Club have welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to take suo motu notice on the killing of Shaheed Arshad Sharif.

According to the details, the joint statement issued by the Sakkur Union of Journalists and the Sakkur Press Club said that they welcome the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the brutal murder of well-known journalist and anchorperson Arshad Sharif in Kenya.

The joint statement said that they are grateful to the Supreme Court for taking notice of the brutal killing of Shaheed Arshad Sharif. 

The process of arresting the killers will be ensured through a transparent investigation. In the statement issued by all the members of the Majlis-e-Amila, including the presidents and general secretaries of the Sakkur Union of Journalists and the Sakkur Press Club, 

It was said that by exposing the accused involved in the murder of Shaheed Arshad Sharif and bringing them to justice, Freedom of expression will be strengthened and democratic traditions will be promoted.

In the joint statement, it was said that the workers of all walks of life of Pakistan welcome the process of self-notice taking by the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

In the statement issued, it was said that Arshad Sharif was the voice of truth in Pakistan who exposed the ugly faces of the society through his pen. Not even a step back. 

It was said in the statement that the journalistic community and journalistic organizations across the country will not sit with China until the murderers of Shaheed Arshad Sharif are punished. 

It should be noted that the Supreme Court has ordered to register the case of Arshad Sharif's murder till this evening and has asked for the copy of the FIR and the inquiry report.
