FIFA World Cup: Costa Rica beats Japan.
Doha: Another sensational match has been decided in the FIFA World Cup.
According to the details, Costa Rica defeated Japan 0-1 in the most important match of Group E played at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.
Both teams adopted an aggressive approach from the beginning of the match and made several attacks on each other's goal posts, but the goalkeepers failed these attacks. The match remained scoreless until the end of the first half.
In the second half as well, the teams tried hard to score but were in vain, however, in the 81st minute of the match, Costa Rica's Casher Fuller scored a great goal to give his team a one-goal lead.
The excitement of the match can be gauged from the fact that six players from both teams were shown yellow cards. It should be noted that this is Costa Rica's first victory in the FIFA World Cup, before which they suffered a crushing 7-0 defeat at the hands of Spain.
While Japan made a triumphant start to the mega event by defeating the four-time world champion Germany in a dramatic manner in their first match.
