What if our funds are not released, they will go on strike or bring people to Islamabad?
Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan said that since this federal government came, the country is in trouble and is putting KP against the wall.
This government has washed out all the initiatives of Imran Khan government. Shahbaz government cut the budget of erstwhile FATA which is the most dangerous move while our federation is also in arrears.
He said that the federal government has money but it is not giving it to us. Of the 10 billion rupees announced by the Prime Minister for the flood victims, not even a penny has been received.
We don't have money to pay salaries. I warn the federal government to give us our right, otherwise we will gather the people of the province and bring them to Islamabad.
Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid said that the federal government has cut our development budget. Only two billion 80 crore rupees were received in 6 months. How can we run 2.5 billion gigabytes?
In BSDP, the federation has not given a tikka in 6 months. We do not understand what Shahbaz government wants. If the issues are not resolved, we will strike.
The Finance Minister of Azad Kashmir said that we have an economic agreement with the federation, but the present federal government came and targeted Azad Kashmir first.
The federal government is treating us like a stepmother. We don't have money to pay salaries.
He said that we have taken an oath to protect the people of the state. Now we have no option but peaceful protest. It is a crime for people to ask for the right, so we will do this crime again and again.
The finance minister further said that after 31 years of local elections in Azad Kashmir, the credit also goes to Imran Khan. The federal government did not even provide police during the election.
